Bibbia CEI: A Comprehensive Bible App for Android Users
Bibbia CEI is a new Android app that offers an enhanced experience of reading the Holy Bible. It is the first and only app that offers the official 2008 translation of the Bible by the Italian Episcopal Conference, complete with critical apparatus. The app is designed to provide accurate reading, navigation, and search functions.
One of the most remarkable features of Bibbia CEI is its ability to allow users to add bookmarks and personal annotations to individual verses, chapters, and books for quick access. It also enables users to share content in different ways. The app is suitable for use on the latest generation devices, and it reflects the Bibbia EDU website, containing texts and notes on the Bible CEIand 1974), the Interconfessional Bible, the Old Testament in Hebrew and Greek, the New Testament in Greek, and the Nova Vulgata.
Bibbia CEI allows users to compare texts and perform word searches. It is designed to be inclusive, allowing users to modify the font size and contrast for people with visual difficulties. This app was commissioned by the General Secretariat of the CEI to IDS&Unitelm and was developed under the supervision of the Sector of Biblical Apostolate of the National Catechetical Office and the National Office for Social Communications.
